Treatment & How It Works

Will it be painful?

Mild pressure or tenderness for 1–3 days is completely normal when switching trays or after an adjustment. Over-the-counter pain relief is usually enough and it settles quickly.

What's the difference between clear aligners and traditional braces?

Removable and virtually invisible, clear aligners gradually shift your teeth. Traditional braces use fixed brackets and wires. Both are highly effective — the right choice depends on your case and lifestyle, which we'll work through at your consultation.

How do clear aligners actually work?

Custom-made trays are worn for 1–2 weeks each, applying gentle pressure to gradually shift your teeth. You'll check in with us every 6–8 weeks to monitor progress.

Suitability & Results

Am I a good candidate for clear aligners or braces?

Most adults and teenagers with mild to moderate alignment concerns are suitable. The only way to know for certain is a free clinical assessment — we'll evaluate your teeth, jaw, and bite and let you know exactly what's possible.

I'm an adult — is it too late to straighten my teeth?

Not at all. We treat patients in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. Clear aligners are particularly popular with adults because they're discreet and fit around a professional lifestyle.

What Happens In Your First Visit?

What happens at my first appointment?

We'll assess your teeth, jaw, and bite, then recommend the best treatment path. You'll leave with a clear plan, a quote, and a realistic timeframe — no pressure to commit on the day.

How quickly can I get started?

We can usually have you in for a consultation within the week, with treatment starting within 2–4 weeks of deciding to go ahead.
